Life during war-time

A few months ago, I read the amazing story of a wartime correspondent's rescue of cats from Baghdad; another woman, calling herself the "Cat Lady of Baghdad" is also rescuing strays from the war-torn city. An entire organization supports the relocation of these noble cats from Baghdad to new homes: Baghdad Cat Rescue.
