Hit or myth?

Ten or so common misconceptions about felis catus, the happy cat. The domestic cat. I am domestic: I live in a house. I am happy: I have my mouse.

The misconceptions laid out in this article include cohabitation (no! I like it not!), exercise (yes! give me the lime, hide the carrot, don't let that hand come too close lest I bite!), and tail-wagging (I am irritated when I wag my tail — not happy!).

Nothing about getting cheek-rubs or pulling my tail or hiding my ears. Nor does it explain why I pretend to sleep for a few minutes, and then carouse all the night.
